Immediate opening for an Auto Body Shop Porter. Responsibilities include washing and detailing cars, keeping shop and office clean, driving customer cars and occasionally helping within the shop. If interested, this position is upwardly mobile into other positions within the shop. Responsibilities Keep shop and office clean. Empty trash daily. Wash, sanitize and detail customer vehicles as needed. Organize vehicles daily. Knowledge of where each car and keys are. Pull cars into garage each night. Drive completed vehicles back to customers and to other repair shops as needed. Drive customers to rental car company or residence. Keep inventory of all cleaning and sanitizing supplies. Assist other employees as needed. Skills A fast learner with an interest in the automotive field. Willingness to adhere to health and safety rules Good organizational skills The ability to work unsupervised in a busy environment and be a team player Patience and cool-headedness A high school degree or equivalent is a plus but not necessary Clean driving record Ability to lift 50 pounds

Pay:

$15.00 - $20.00 per hour
