PART-TIME ELEMENTARY SCHOOL CUSTODIAN

Position Title:

Part- Time Custodian Reports to: Director of Operations and Security Position Summary We are seeking a dependable, hardworking, and detail-oriented Part-Time Elementary Custodian to help maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming learning environment for our students and staff. This position is ideal for someone who takes pride in their work and enjoys being part of a school community. Responsibilities Clean and sanitize classrooms, restrooms, hallways, and common areas. Sweep, mop, vacuum, and dust assigned areas Empty trash and recycling containers Restock restroom supplies Set up and take down tables and chairs for school events as needed perform routine building security checks and lock doors at the end of the shift Report on maintenance or safety concerns to the supervisor Assist with seasonal cleaning and other custodial duties as assigned Qualifications High School diploma or equivalent preferred Previous custodial or cleaning experience is helpful but not required Ability to work independently and efficiently Strong attention to detail and reliability Ability to lift to 50 pounds and perform physical task including bending, standing, and walking for extended periods must successfully pass required fingerprinting process What we offer Consistent weekday schedule (3:00 PM - 7:00PM) Supportive team environment Opportunity to make a positive impact on students and the school community
