Job Summary:

Responsible for assisting the Camp Grounds and Facilities Coordinator in the cleaning and upkeep of the camp properties and buildings.

Key Responsibility Areas:

Clean camp buildings and facilities based on established cleaning schedules. Organize and keep all work areas clean and safe. Track supply levels (cleaning supplies, toilet paper, soap, etc.) in facilities and re-stock as necessary; communicate supervisor when additional supplies should be ordered Demonstrate a respect for individuals, respect for property, responsibility and good judgment, decorum, politeness, neatness of dress and modesty. Work to uphold the philosophies of Camp Ozanam by demonstrating a strong faith commitment to the spiritual values of outdoor ministry. Adhere to and assist in enforcing all health and safety protocols recommended or required by Camp Ozanam, American Camping Association and the State of Michigan. These are not the only duties to be performed. Some duties may be reassigned and other duties may be assigned as required.

Director of Camp Services Qualifications:

• Demonstrate the ability to work with people as a team member and the ability to work independently.
• Ability and desire to work in a camp setting.
• This position requires physical labor, which includes but is not limited to heavy lifting and operating machinery.
• Availability to work occasional evenings/weekends based on rental scheduling
