Open Until Filled Help Keep Our School Safe, Clean, and Welcoming Northome School is seeking a dependable, hardworking Full-Time Custodian to maintain a clean, safe, and attractive learning environment for students, staff, and visitors. The Custodian will perform general cleaning and maintenance to provide pleasant and safe surroundings for staff and students. The Custodian will work evenings while school is in session and days during the summer months. Key Responsibilities

• Perform daily cleaning of classrooms, offices, restrooms, hallways, and common areas.
• Complete routine maintenance and minor repairs.
• Report maintenance and safety concerns.
• Assist with seasonal grounds maintenance including snow removal and mowing as needed.
• Assists in remodeling projects.
• Conducts ground maintenance including mowing, landscaping, snow removal, painting, raking, or other similar tasks when needed.
• Locks and unlocks doors prior to start/closing of school, as needed.
• Sets up equipment for sporting events, concerts, and other meetings or special events. Sets-up and cleans sporting equipment. Sets up bleachers for special events.
• Other duties as directed by supervisor or administration. Preferred Qualifications
• Custodial experience preferred but not required.
• Ability to perform physical work and lift up to 50 pounds.
