Responsible for general building and grounds maintenance, custodial duties in facility offices as well as certain production areas. Responsible for select GFSI duties including recordkeeping.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES
Indoors
Trash removal of all receptacles within the building
includes all plant and administrative offices
Cleaning / sanitizing of all restrooms in facility
Cleaning of offices, restrooms, breakroom and training room
sweep, mop, dust, wipe down doors & door frames, windows and blinds, light fixtures, etc.
Wax office and restroom floors twice per year
Clean, sweep, dust front office foyer
clean reception window
Daily restocking of breakroom supplies
coffee, utensils, cups, etc.
Maintain inventory and reorder paper products, breakroom supplies, cleaning supplies, etc. Production floor
Assist in deep cleaning of presses and other production equipment as directed
Maintain cleanliness of 18' interior perimeter throughout facility
Assist in other areas to maintain a clean and orderly facility Outdoors
Trash removal of all receptacles outside of building
Keep grounds around facility free of trash
includes smoking gazebo area
Keep area around dumpster area clean of trash
Keep dock areas and shipping yard clean of trash
Keep all parking lots clean of trash
Maintain visitor entrance at front of plant
porch, light fixtures, etc. GFSI duties (assists EH&S Director in these duties)
Assist in GFSI inspections and cleaning as directed
Maintain cleaning chemical station, supplies and log
Inspect fire extinguishers throughout facility
maintain dates and log
Inspect eyewash stations
communicate needs / issues with EH&S Director SAFETY
Enforce and follow all Personnel Protective Equipment (PPE) Hazard Assessment requirements.
Enforce and follow all Environmental Health and Safety procedural requirements.
QUALIFICATIONS
Operate scissor lift Must be able to work unsupervised
WORK ENVIRONMENT
Must be able to tolerate heat, cold weather and loud noise
