/ Barnegat 08005 Please Leave Regular E-Mail Address As You Have Mine. !!!rview Responsibilities Perform thorough cleaning duties across designated areas, including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and trash removal Handle chemical agents safely and responsibly during cleaning processes, adhering to all safety protocols Operate floor buffers and other custodial equipment to maintain high standards of floor care and appearance Conduct routine inspections of facilities to identify maintenance needs or safety hazards Assist with heavy lifting tasks using proper techniques to ensure safe handling of supplies and equipment Support general maintenance tasks such as minor repairs or touch-ups, including residential painting when necessary Follow safe lifting practices during manual handling activities to prevent injuries and ensure efficiency Requirements Proven experience in cleaning or janitorial roles, with familiarity in commercial or industrial settings preferred Knowledge of chemical agent handling and safety procedures related to custodial work Ability to perform manual handling tasks safely, including heavy lifting and the use of cleaning machinery like floor buffers Prior experience with facilities maintenance or porter duties is advantageous Strong attention to detail with a proactive approach to cleanliness and safety standards Excellent physical stamina for standing, walking, bending, and lifting throughout shifts Commitment to following safe lifting practices and proper use of custodial equipment Embark on a fulfilling career where your skills keep environments spotless and safe!
