Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Cleaner to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and hygiene in various environments, ensuring that all areas are well-kept and presentable. This role is essential in providing a safe and welcoming atmosphere for both employees and visitors. Duties Perform routine cleaning tasks in commercial settings, including offices, restrooms, hallways, and common areas. Dust, sweep, mop, and vacuum floors to maintain cleanliness. Clean and sanitize surfaces, including desks, countertops, and equipment. Empty trash receptacles and dispose of waste properly. Restock supplies such as paper towels, toilet paper, and cleaning products as needed. Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the appropriate personnel. Follow established cleaning protocols to ensure compliance with health and safety regulations. Qualifications Previous experience in commercial cleaning or custodial services is preferred but not required. Strong attention to detail with a commitment to delivering high-quality work. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team. Good time management skills to complete tasks efficiently within designated timeframes. Physical stamina to perform cleaning duties that may require lifting or moving items up to 25 pounds. Knowledge of proper cleaning techniques and use of cleaning equipment is a plus.
