Job Description
Overview We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Custodian to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and order, ensuring a safe and welcoming environment for all. This role is essential in supporting the overall operations of our organization through effective custodial practices. Duties Perform routine cleaning tasks, including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and vacuuming to maintain cleanliness in assigned areas. Maintain cleanliness in classrooms, restrooms, break rooms, and common areas by restocking supplies and sanitizing surfaces regularly. Assist with the movement of furniture or equipment during events or maintenance activities. Requirements Experience in custodial services or related fields such as commercial cleaning or facilities maintenance is preferred. Attention to detail with the ability to follow instructions and maintain high standards of cleanliness. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team. Ability to lift heavy objects and stand for extended periods. Time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
