Qualifications:

High School Diploma or equivalent At least 1 year of experience in custodial or building maintenance work or an equivalent combination of education and experience Knowledge of cleaning methods, materials, and equipment Ability to follow safety guidelines and chemical handling procedures Strong attention to detail and high standards of cleanliness Ability to work independently with minimal supervision Reliable, punctual, and effective time management skills Effective communication skills with supervisors and staff

Responsibilities and Duties:

Maintain custodial equipment in good working condition. Clean and sanitize offices, restrooms, breakrooms, conference rooms, lobbies, and common areas. Sweep, mop, and vacuum floors as needed. Empty trash and recycling containers and dispose of waste properly. Clean and sanitize restrooms, replenish supplies, and report maintenance issues. Dust and wipe down furniture, fixtures, equipment, and surfaces. Clean interior windows, glass doors, and mirrors. Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and notify supervisor when restocking is needed. Assist with basic facility support tasks such as moving furniture, setting up meeting rooms, and light maintenance tasks. Follow established safety procedures, including proper handling and storage of cleaning chemicals. Report facility repairs, hazards, or security concerns to supervisor promptly.
