The ideal candidate will have experience in various cleaning and custodial tasks, ensuring a hygienic and well-maintained environment for staff and visitors. Duties Perform routine cleaning of floors, restrooms, offices, and common areas using appropriate cleaning tools and supplies Conduct floor care activities such as buffing, waxing, and polishing to maintain a professional appearance Handle custodial responsibilities including trash removal, dusting, window cleaning, and surface sanitation Maintain cleaning equipment and supplies, ensuring proper storage and functionality Assist with minor maintenance tasks related to facilities upkeep, including light repairs or reporting larger issues Support industrial or commercial cleaning projects as needed, adhering to safety protocols Ensure all areas meet health and safety standards by following proper cleaning procedures and safety guidelines Experience Prior janitorial or custodial experience preferred, especially in commercial or industrial settings Knowledge of floor care techniques such as buffing, stripping, waxing, and polishing Experience with residential painting or facilities maintenance is a plus but not required Familiarity with cleaning chemicals, equipment operation, and safety procedures is desirable Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while maintaining high standards of cleanliness Strong attention to detail and organizational skills to ensure thorough cleaning across all assigned areas
