Responsibilities Thoroughly clean and sanitize all areas of vacation rental units, including bedrooms, bathrooms, kitchens, living spaces, and outdoor areas. Use appropriate cleaning equipment such as vacuums, mops, and specialized tools to achieve high standards of cleanliness. Handle chemical agents safely by following safety data sheets (SDS) and proper handling procedures to ensure a secure environment. Perform heavy lifting and manual handling tasks when moving furniture, supplies, or cleaning equipment to facilitate efficient cleaning processes. Maintain detailed records of cleaning activities and report any maintenance issues or damages promptly. Adhere to hotel housekeeping management protocols and emergency procedures to ensure guest safety at all times. Provide excellent customer service by addressing guest inquiries professionally and ensuring their satisfaction with the cleanliness of the property. Requirements Proven experience in hotel housekeeping management, custodial or janitorial work, or industrial cleaning environments. Knowledge of floor care techniques including floor cleaning, vacuuming, and maintenance. Ability to handle cleaning chemicals responsibly and safely in compliance with safety data sheets (SDS). Strong manual handling skills with the physical ability for heavy lifting and prolonged periods of standing or walking. Excellent attention to detail with a focus on sanitation standards and quality control. Good communication skills and a friendly attitude to deliver outstanding customer service. Familiarity with hotel emergency procedures and safety protocols is preferred. Previous experience in hospitality or hotel housekeeping is highly advantageous.
