Conduct custodial tasks including trash removal, dusting, mopping, vacuuming, and sanitation of high-touch areas to promote health and safety. Operate cleaning machinery efficiently while adhering to safe lifting practices during heavy lifting or manual handling tasks. Maintain cleanliness standards by inspecting work areas regularly and reporting any maintenance needs or safety hazards promptly. Support facilities maintenance activities such as minor repairs or painting as needed to ensure optimal environment quality. Follow safety protocols diligently during all cleaning activities to prevent accidents and ensure compliance with health regulations. Skills Proven experience in cleaning, janitorial work, or custodial services with a strong understanding of commercial or industrial cleaning procedures. Skilled in operating cleaning equipment including floor buffers, vacuums, and other custodial tools effectively. Knowledge of chemical agent handling safety procedures to ensure safe use of cleaning products. Ability to perform manual handling tasks safely, including heavy lifting and moving supplies or equipment. Excellent customer service skills to interact professionally with staff and visitors when necessary. Familiarity with sanitation standards and facilities maintenance practices for diverse environments.
