Under the general direction of Custodial Supervisor, ensures cleanliness and efficient, safe operation of the facility.

Salary:

The salary for this position is $18.57 - $22.60 per hour. Offers are made at the entry level of the range.

Assignment:

This position is 7 hours per week, school year schedule, and will serve the Gorge Academy in White Salmon, WA.

Essential Functions:

Clean and maintain ESD 112 buildings and facilities. Prepare, clean, and secure facilities for conference activities.

Other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications:

High school diploma or GED.

Preferred Qualifications and Skills:

Experience working in an educational setting. Experience as a custodian or related position.

Working Conditions/Physical Requirements:

Commercial/business facility. Frequently standing, walking on carpet, asphalt, tile, cement, rubber mats, linoleum surfaces. Routinely crouching, kneeling, crawling, stooping, climbing, grasping, pushing, pulling, carrying, bending, and climbing ladders. Work may require use of machines, tools and/or hazardous chemicals. Ability to move and lift up to 60 lbs easily without injury to self or the equipment. Flexible work hours including evenings.

Employment Requirements:

Successful completion of a criminal history and fingerprint check through the Washington State Patrol and FBI.
