251 Government Street, Mobile, AL 36602 What You'll Do Keep kitchen, dish, and storage areas clean, organized, and sanitary Set up and operate dish machines and sinks Wash, sanitize, sort, and properly store dishes, glassware, silverware, cookware, and kitchen equipment Keep floors clean and dry throughout the shift Maintain proper chemical levels and follow food safety and sanitation procedures Assist with receiving and storing food deliveries Maintain trash and recycling areas and remove waste as needed Keep dry storage areas organized Assist with basic food prep and other kitchen tasks as directed Support the culinary team during busy service periods Follow daily cleaning and sanitation checklists Work safely and follow all company and kitchen procedures Perform other duties as assigned by culinary leadership What We're Looking For High school diploma preferred Previous steward, dishwasher, or kitchen experience preferred Positive, dependable, and self-motivated Strong attention to cleanliness and organization Able to follow written and verbal instructions Comfortable working around commercial kitchen equipment Able to work independently while being a strong team player Customer service mindset and professional communication skills Willingness to learn and take direction The Details This is an active, hands-on position.
