Join Our Team for Fall Fun Fest 2026! Fall is our biggest and most exciting season at Murray Family Farms, and we're looking for great people to join our team! Every fall, thousands of families visit the farm to shop, eat, pick pumpkins, enjoy rides and games, and make memories together. It takes an amazing team to make it all happen, and we're now hiring Retail & Food Service staff for our 2026 Fall Fun Fest season. Seasonal positions are perfect for students, weekend workers, and anyone looking to earn extra money this fall . And for exceptional team members, seasonal work may even lead to longer term opportunities at the farm.

RETAIL STAFF

Experience recommended Our Big Red Barn gets busy! Retail team members help keep everything running smoothly while providing friendly, welcoming service to our guests.

Responsibilities may include:

Running cash registers Stocking and displaying produce Helping customers and answering questions Passing out samples Keeping retail areas clean, organized, and ready for guests We'd especially love to meet applicants with: Retail, cashier, produce, agriculture, or customer-service experience; knowledge of agriculture or healthy foods; and a naturally friendly, helpful attitude.

KITCHEN STAFF

Some experience required Our kitchen is a fast paced, team-oriented environment. We're looking for: Line Cooks Prep Cooks Kitchen Cashiers Food handling knowledge and experience in a busy kitchen are strongly preferred, although applicants with limited experience who are eager to learn are encouraged to apply. We're looking for people who are efficient, dependable, quality-focused, and great teammates. Every person in our kitchen plays an important role, especially during our busiest fall weekends. Culinary and customer-service experience are a big plus!

IMPORTANT TO KNOW

Weekend availability is required. Weekends are our busiest days of the season. Most Fall Fun Fest positions are seasonal , and applicants who are available primarily on weekends —are encouraged to apply. Reliable transportation is required . Murray Family Farms is located approximately 15 miles outside Bakersfield. Please look up our location and make sure the commute works for you before applying.
