is looking for an enthusiastic and hardworking Kitchen Helper to join our team in Oak Park, CA! Responsibilities:

Assist kitchen staff with food prep tasks including chopping, portioning, and organizing ingredients Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of kitchen workstations, equipment, and utensils Wash and sanitize dishes, pots, pans, and cooking tools in a timely manner Receive, store, and rotate food deliveries following proper food safety protocols Support line cooks and chefs during service to ensure smooth kitchen operations Take out trash, sweep, and mop kitchen floors to uphold health and safety standards Restock supplies and ensure prep stations are fully stocked before and during service

Requirements:

No prior experience required — a positive attitude and willingness to learn are a must Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume kitchen environment Strong work ethic with a team-first mentality Basic knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices is a plus Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs Reliable, punctual, and able to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends
