This energetic role offers the opportunity to work in a fast-paced, lively environment where your skills in skewer handling, grilling, and food preparation will shine. You'll be responsible for preparing and managing skewers for consistent cooking results, supporting safe, efficient kitchen operations, and helping ensure every dish is served at the highest quality. We are committed to providing paid positions that foster growth, teamwork, and a passion for hospitality. Duties Handle skewers and prepare them for grilling with accuracy and consistency (including portioning/assembly as needed). Grill and monitor skewers to ensure proper doneness, even cooking, and quality presentation. Assist with food preparation, ensuring all items meet quality and safety standards. Maintain cleanliness of kitchen areas, including sanitizing surfaces, and organizing supplies. Experience Previous food service experience in a restaurant or hospitality setting is preferred. Familiarity with food handling procedures and food safety regulations is highly valued. Experience with grilling and skewer handling (or similar cookline/line cooking tasks) is advantageous. Ability to perform manual handling tasks including lifting and steady, continuous work while following safe lifting practices. Strong communication skills to interact effectively with team members and guests. Experience using POS systems like Aloha POS or Micros POS is a plus. Prior banquet or large event experience can be beneficial but is not required.
