Responsibilities Scoop a variety of Lapperts ice cream flavors, toppings, and specialty desserts with precision and care. Operate Square POS systems to process retail sales transactions efficiently. Take customer orders with enthusiasm, upsell products to enhance the guest experience, and handle cash register operations accurately. Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in all food prep areas, ensuring a safe environment for staff and customers. Manage food handling procedures in compliance with food safety regulations and sanitation protocols. Provide friendly customer service by answering questions, offering recommendations, and creating a welcoming atmosphere. Operate kitchen equipment safely, including blenders, shaved ice machine and other small appliances necessary for food preparation. Requirements Previous experience in food service or quick service & fast food restaurants is preferred but not required; training will be provided. Familiarity with POS systems is a plus. Strong time management skills to handle busy periods efficiently while maintaining quality standards. Ability to perform basic math for cash handling, register balancing, and order processing. Excellent customer service skills with a positive attitude and energetic approach. Knowledge of food safety management practices and sanitation standards is highly desirable.
