Responsibilities Greet customers warmly and take their food and beverage orders accurately using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS. Prepare food items efficiently while maintaining high standards of food safety, sanitation, and cleanliness. Operate kitchen equipment safely and effectively to ensure timely food preparation. Manage customer orders through POS systems, process cash transactions, and handle cash register operations with accuracy. Upsell menu items to enhance customer experience and increase sales opportunities. Maintain a clean workspace by following sanitation protocols, including proper food handling and storage procedures. Assist in retail sales transactions when applicable, providing excellent customer service at the counter or drive-thru. Support team members in operating kitchen equipment and ensuring food safety standards are met consistently. Handle customer inquiries professionally, resolve issues promptly, and ensure overall satisfaction. Contribute to a positive team environment by supporting colleagues during busy periods and sharing responsibilities. Experience Previous experience in quick service or fast food restaurant environments is highly preferred. Demonstrated ability in food preparation, food handling, and sanitation practices within a restaurant or café setting. Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is advantageous. Strong time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently during peak hours. Basic math skills for processing cash transactions accurately and managing register operations. Proven customer service experience with a focus on creating welcoming interactions. Knowledge of food safety management practices and sanitation standards to uphold health regulations.
