Job Description

The Wingstop Team Member / Cook is essential to delivering high-quality, consistent food and outstanding guest experiences. This role focuses on maintaining strict operational standards, prioritizing food safety and sanitation, and working efficiently under pressure.
Core Responsibilities Food Preparation & Cooking:
Safely cook wings (bone-in, boneless, wings), fries, and side items using designated fryers, baskets, and timers.
Order Accuracy & Packaging:
Read tickets quickly, accurately count items, toss them in the correct sauces/seasonings, and package orders neatly for pickup.
Kitchen & Equipment Maintenance:
Perform daily fryer maintenance (filtering and freshening oil safely), keep prep stations stocked using prep charts, and maintain a clean workspace during and after shifts.
Safety & Sanitation:
Practice proper personal hygiene, follow safe food-handling protocols, and handle cleaning chemicals correctly.
Teamwork & Communication:
Support teammates, follow management direction, maintain a professional attitude, and report safety or operational issues immediately.
Key Qualifications & Requirements Age:
Must be at least 18 years old.
Mindset:
Guest-focused, adaptable, and eager to learn and improve.
Work Style:
Highly organized, detail-oriented, reliable, and able to stay calm in a fast-paced environment.
Skills:
Strong work ethic, solid communication skills, and the ability to manage multiple cooking times simultaneously.
Job Types:
Full-time, Part-time Pay:
$17.00 - $19.00 per hour
