Duties Prepare food items according to established recipes and quality standards, ensuring freshness and presentation. Operate POS (Point of Sale) systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS to process customer orders accurately and efficiently. Manage customer orders with professionalism, upselling menu items to enhance the dining experience and increase sales. Handle cash register operations, processing cash transactions, credit card payments, and processing change with accuracy. Maintain a clean workspace by sanitizing food prep areas, dining spaces, and kitchen equipment regularly. Assist in food safety management by following sanitation protocols, proper food handling procedures, and adhering to health regulations. Support food preparation tasks like assembling meals, operating kitchen equipment safely, and ensuring timely service delivery. Experience Previous experience in quick service or fast-food restaurant environments is highly preferred. Demonstrated ability in food preparation, food handling, and customer service within the food industry. Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is advantageous. Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently during busy hours. Basic math skills for cash handling, processing transactions, and inventory counts. Experience with retail sales transactions or café operations is a plus. Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper use of kitchen equipment ensures a safe working environment.
