Duties Prepare a variety of menu items with precision, including grilling, braising, poaching, and other cooking techniques. Operate and maintain kitchen equipment safely and efficiently to support high-volume food production. Follow strict food safety sanitizing procedures to ensure a clean and hygienic kitchen environment. Assist in menu planning and recipe adherence to maintain consistency and quality standards. Handle food with care, practicing proper food handling techniques to meet safety regulations. Support dietary department needs by preparing specialized meals and accommodating dietary restrictions. Collaborate with team members during catering events and large-scale meal preparations to ensure timely service. Experience Proven experience in food service or restaurant environments, ideally with fine dining exposure. Strong background in food preparation, including skills in grilling, braising, knife handling, and meal assembly. Familiarity with operating kitchen equipment such as ovens, fryers, mixers, and food processors. Knowledge of food safety management practices and sanitizing procedures to uphold health standards. Experience working in high-volume production settings within the food industry or catering environments. Ability to follow recipes accurately while maintaining efficiency during busy periods.
