Job Summary Join the La Delicia Michoacana team as an Ice Cream and Snack Bar Crew Member! In this role, you will provide friendly customer service while preparing and serving paletas, ice cream, aguas frescas, fruit cups, Mexican snacks, and other delicious treats. You will take customer orders, process payments, keep the shop clean and organized, and help create a welcoming experience for every guest. This paid position is perfect for someone who is energetic, dependable, and enjoys working with people in a fun, fast-paced environment. Duties Greet customers warmly and assist them with menu selections. Prepare and serve paletas, ice cream, fruit cups, aguas frescas, snacks, and other menu items according to established recipes and presentation standards. Take customer orders and operate the POS system accurately and efficiently. Process cash, credit card, and other payment transactions. Recommend flavors, toppings, combinations, and featured menu items to customers. Restock ingredients, toppings, utensils, and supplies as needed. Maintain clean and organized counters, preparation areas, equipment, and customer seating areas. Follow all food safety, sanitation, and proper food-handling procedures. Work cooperatively with other team members to provide fast and friendly service during busy hours. Assist with opening and closing responsibilities as assigned. Skills and Qualifications Friendly, positive, and customer-focused attitude. Strong communication and teamwork skills. Ability to work efficiently and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment. Basic math skills for handling payments and completing transactions accurately. Dependable, punctual, and willing to learn. Ability to follow recipes, portion guidelines, and food-safety procedures. Previous experience in food service, customer service, or cashiering is preferred but not required; training will be provided. Spanish and English communication skills are a plus. Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, as needed.
