Job Description
Aloha! We are the original gelateria on Maui and take great pride in being a family-owned and operated business, offering the best quality gelato. We need to hire a gelato maker. Duties include operating expensive equipment, learning our gelato-making process and recipes, being very detail-oriented as recipes and processes need to be followed to a "T" to ensure quality, working in a kitchen-like environment where you have to ebb and flow with other workers around you, and culinary experience is a requirement! Do NOT apply for this job if you have no food handling or culinary experience, please. Looking for long term employee only, training and learning this position takes time and effort. Pay will be established based on experience. Hours are semi-flexible, opportunity for morning/noon shift, or late afternoon/evening shift, weekdays and weekends.
