Responsibilities:

• Assist in food preparation and cooking under the supervision of the kitchen manager or head chef
• Follow recipes and portion guidelines to ensure consistency in food quality and presentation
• Maintain a clean and organized work area, including washing dishes, utensils, and equipment
• Assist with receiving and storing food supplies and ingredients
• Collaborate with other team members to ensure efficient operation of the kitchen
• Provide excellent customer service by taking orders, serving food, and addressing customer needs
• Support the team by bussing tables, restocking supplies, and maintaining cleanliness in the dining area

Skills:

• Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with customers and team members
• Previous experience working in a restaurant, hotel, or similar food service environment preferred
• Basic cooking skills and knowledge of kitchen equipment and utensils
• Strong customer service skills to provide a positive dining experience for guests
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
• Attention to detail to ensure accuracy in food preparation and presentation
