Job Description

We are looking for a reliable, energetic, and multi-skilled Restaurant Team Member to join our team. In this role, you will play a key part in all aspects of daily restaurant operations—from assisting in the kitchen and handling customer transactions to maintaining a clean and welcoming environment. If you thrive in a fast-paced setting and enjoy working as part of a team, we'd love to meet you! Key Responsibilities 1. Kitchen & Culinary Support Assist line cooks and kitchen staff with food preparation (cutting, washing, and assembling ingredients). Cook or assemble simple menu items according to standard recipes and food safety standards. Package and stage food orders for dine-in, takeout, or delivery. Monitor prep station inventory and restock food items as needed. 2. Cashiering & Guest Service Greet guests warmly and take orders accurately at the counter or drive-thru. Process payments, enter transactions accurately into the Point of Sale (POS) system, and handle cash drawer reconciliations. Answer customer questions about menu items, specials, and dietary restrictions. Handle customer feedback or requests promptly with a positive attitude. 3. Cleaning & Sanitation Bus tables, sanitize dining room surfaces, and clean floor areas regularly. Maintain kitchen cleanliness, including washing dishes, pots, pans, and utensils. Sanitize food prep areas, counters, and cooking equipment throughout shift. Take out trash and recycling, ensuring compliance with hygiene and safety standards.
Qualifications & Requirements Experience:
Previous experience in a restaurant, fast food, customer service, or retail setting is preferred, but willing to train the right candidate.
Basic Math Skills:
Ability to operate a POS terminal, handle cash, and calculate change accurately.
Food Safety:
Knowledge of basic food safety procedures (a Food Handler's Permit or willingness to obtain one upon hire).
Physical Stamina:
Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift up to 30-50 lbs for the duration of a shift.
Communication:
Strong verbal communication skills and a team-first mindset.
Flexibility:
Availability to work shifts including weekends, evenings, and holidays as required.
Pay:
$16.50 - $17.00 per hour Expected hours: 30.0 - 40.0 per week
