Duties Assist with food preparation tasks, including chopping, assembling, and portioning ingredients according to recipes and safety standards Maintain cleanliness of workstations by regularly cleaning surfaces, utensils, and equipment in accordance with food safety regulations Support food running and serving duties to ensure timely delivery of orders to guests or dining areas Handle manual tasks such as heavy lifting of supplies, equipment, and stock in safe lifting practices Manage food handling responsibilities with strict adherence to hygiene protocols and safety guidelines Operate POS (Point of Sale) systems like Aloha POS or Micros POS for order processing and guest transactions Assist with in-person customer service by addressing guest inquiries professionally and courteously Perform routine cleaning duties such as sweeping, mopping, trash disposal, and maintaining overall sanitation standards Qualifications Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments preferred; kitchen experience is a plus Knowledge of food handling safety standards and proper sanitation procedures Ability to perform manual handling tasks including heavy lifting with safe lifting practices Strong communication skills to coordinate effectively with team members and interact positively with guests Experience with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is advantageous Familiarity with food preparation techniques and restaurant operations is desirable Experience working in banquet settings or hospitality environments is a bonus Demonstrated ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail Join us as a vital part of our kitchen crew!
