The ideal candidate will assist in various kitchen tasks, ensuring a smooth and efficient food preparation process. This role is essential in maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the kitchen while supporting chefs and other kitchen staff in delivering high-quality meals. Maintain cleanliness of the kitchen by washing dishes, sanitizing surfaces, and disposing of waste properly. Help with the setup and breakdown of banquet events or catering services. Support chefs during meal service by preparing necessary items and ensuring timely delivery. Follow food handling safety guidelines to ensure the health and safety of all guests. Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient kitchen operations. Perform other duties as assigned by the kitchen management team. Skills Experience in a kitchen environment, preferably in food service or restaurant settings. Knowledge of basic food preparation techniques and safe food handling practices. Strong organizational skills with an ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment. Excellent communication skills to work collaboratively within a team. A positive attitude with a willingness to learn and help others. Experience with banquet or catering services is a plus but not required.
