Responsibilities Assist with food preparation, including chopping, assembling ingredients, and basic cooking tasks to support chefs and kitchen staff Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards by regularly cleaning workstations, utensils, and kitchen equipment Support food running duties by delivering dishes promptly from the kitchen to dining areas while ensuring presentation quality Buss tables and clear dishes efficiently to keep dining areas tidy and ready for new guests Handle manual lifting of supplies, ingredients, and equipment following safe lifting practices to prevent injury Assist with food handling procedures in compliance with food safety regulations to ensure guest safety Support in stocking supplies and organizing storage areas for efficient kitchen workflow Skills Proven experience in food service or restaurant environments, including kitchen experience and food handling skills Strong knowledge of cleaning protocols and sanitation standards in a commercial kitchen setting Ability to perform heavy lifting safely while adhering to safe lifting practices Excellent communication skills for effective teamwork and in-person customer service when interacting with guests or front-of-house staff Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS for order processing when needed Experience with banquet service or large-scale catering is a plus, demonstrating adaptability in busy settings Knowledge of food safety regulations and proper food preparation techniques to uphold high standards of hygiene and quality Join us and bring your energy, passion for hospitality, and commitment to excellence!
