Full-Time / Part-Time Job Summary Modern Greek Eatery & Bar is hiring energetic and dependable Kitchen Staff for our East Lansing location. Join a fast-paced, team-oriented restaurant serving fresh Greek and Mediterranean-inspired food in a lively restaurant and bar environment. Experience is preferred but not required—we will train motivated candidates. Responsibilities Prepare, portion, assemble, and plate menu items Maintain food quality and presentation standards Keep kitchen stations clean, stocked, and organized Follow food safety, sanitation, and proper food-handling procedures Assist with dishwashing, cleaning, and restocking as needed Receive and properly store food and supplies Assist with food running during busy periods Work closely with kitchen and front-of-house team members Complete opening and closing duties Follow recipes, portion standards, and management instructions Qualifications Restaurant or kitchen experience preferred, but not required Reliable, punctual, and able to work well with a team Comfortable working in a busy, fast-paced environment Strong attention to cleanliness and food safety Ability to stand for extended periods and safely lift restaurant supplies Evening and weekend availability preferred Availability during MSU football games and other major campus events is a plus Why Join Modern Greek?
