We are looking for an energetic, friendly person to join the Brewed Awakenings team. He/she will work both in the kitchen as a Sandwich Artist and up front as a Barista. He/she will also be serving all cafe products with friendly, individualized attention to all who step through our doors. He/she must be able to do the following:

• Be energetic - it's a team-based work environment and crew energy is important.
• Ability to provide exceptional customer service while becoming familiar with all products carried by the café. Must have the ability to answer customer questions and provide suggestions when asked.
• Possess Ability To Work At A Fast Pace - Our kitchen has a lot going on and there's lots of on-the-line communication and job rotation. It's not for everybody.
• Be organized and have the ability to multitask.
• Must have strong communication skills.
• Follow directions, use checklists and read and follow recipes when making sandwiches, salads, coffee drinks, etc.
• Must work well as a team.
• Demonstrate safe work practices.

Cleanliness:

Maintain and clean the customer dining area, restrooms, kitchen and barista areas in accordance with company and health department standards.

• Practice safe handling of foods and effective sanitation techniques at all times, assuring that only safe products are served to the customer.
