The Expo ensures every plate meets quality standards, matches the guest's ticket order, and leaves the kitchen promptly. The ideal candidate thrives under pressure, possesses sharp attention to detail, and communicates clearly with line cooks, servers, and managers during high-volume rushes. Job Description ○

Order Coordination:

Manage ticket flow through the point-of-sale (TOAST POS) display, calling out tickets and orders to line cooks and tracking order prep times. ○

Quality Assurance:

Inspect every plate before it leaves the pass to confirm accuracy, correct portioning, proper temperature, clean plate rims, and adherence to special dietary requests or modifications. ○

Garnishing & Finishing:

Apply final touches, sauces, or garnishes to dishes according to venue presentation standards. ○

Delivery Logistics:

Organize completed tickets, match dishes to table seating charts and to-go orders, and direct food runners or service staff to transport orders immediately. ○

Communication Hub:

Relay customer modifications, re-fires, and table timing updates between servers and kitchen staff while maintaining composure. ○

Station Maintenance:

Keep work station clean, organized, fully stocked with trays, garnishes, side sauces, and necessary service items throughout the shift. ○

Safety & Sanitation:

Adhere strictly to local health code standards, proper food handling techniques, and temperature control practices. Deliver food and dishes to tables in a timely and safe manor ○ Being personable with guests

Requirements:

○ English Proficiency

• Must be able to Speak, Read, and Write Proficiently in English ○ Minimum
• High School Diploma ○ Ability to work between the hours of 10:00 am
• 11:00 pm ○ Minimum
• 1 + years of Expo Experience or equivalent Skills and Abilities that we are seeking: ○ Strong Multitasking Skills are a must!

○ Must exhibit excellent communication skills ○ Be able to work independently and be able to work well in a fast-paced environment with a team ○ Demonstrate Excellent composure under stress ○ Experience working with TOAST (Point of sales ordering and electronic ticketing system) Physical Demands ○ Must be able to walk and/or stand and sit for long periods throughout the day ○ Must have a good sense of balance, and be able to bend and kneel ○ Must be able to reach and twist occasionally ○ Must be able to push, pull and grasp objects occasionally ○ Must have the ability to independently lift 25+ pounds occasionally ○ Must be able to perform repetitive hand and wrist motions ○ Must have good hand-eye coordination Working Environment Office, restaurant and off-site venues for catering and events. May have loud music or noise and warm and cold conditions. Must be willing to work a flexible schedule including all shifts, weekends and holidays.
