Responsibilities Greet customers warmly and assist with their food orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS to ensure quick and accurate transactions. Prepare food items efficiently while adhering to food safety standards and sanitation protocols. Operate kitchen equipment safely and effectively to support food preparation tasks. Manage customer orders from start to finish, including taking orders, processing payments, and upselling menu items to enhance sales. Maintain a clean workspace by regularly sanitizing surfaces, bussing tables, and ensuring proper sanitation of all food handling areas. Handle cash register operations accurately, process retail sales transactions, and manage cash handling responsibilities with integrity. Support team members in serving customers promptly, managing food service needs, and ensuring overall restaurant cleanliness and organization. Experience Previous experience in quick service or fast food restaurants is preferred but not required; we welcome motivated individuals eager to learn! Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is a plus. Experience in food handling, cashiering, or retail sales transactions will help you succeed in this role. Strong time management skills are essential for balancing multiple tasks efficiently during busy hours. Basic math skills are necessary for processing cash transactions accurately. Food safety management knowledge or prior restaurant experience will be advantageous but can be learned on the job. A background in the food industry, grocery store experience, or café work provides valuable insight into customer service and food preparation standards.
