Job Summary We are seeking a motivated and energetic Kitchen Helper to join our dynamic culinary team. In this vital role, you will assist with food preparation, maintain cleanliness, and support the kitchen staff to ensure smooth and efficient restaurant operations. Responsibilities Assist with food preparation tasks such as chopping, peeling, and organizing ingredients to support chefs and cooks. Maintain cleanliness of workstations, utensils, and kitchen equipment in compliance with food safety standards. Support meal assembly and plating to ensure timely service during busy hours. Handle food items safely, following proper storage, handling, and sanitation procedures. Help with dishwashing duties, including cleaning cookware, utensils, and kitchen surfaces. Restock supplies and ingredients as needed to keep the kitchen well-organized and prepared for service. Follow all health and safety regulations to ensure a safe working environment for everyone. Requirements Previous experience in a restaurant or food service environment is preferred but not required; enthusiasm to learn is essential. Basic knife skills and familiarity with food preparation techniques are advantageous. Knowledge of food safety practices and proper food handling procedures. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced setting while maintaining attention to detail. Strong teamwork skills with a positive attitude towards collaboration with kitchen staff. Willingness to follow instructions carefully and adhere to hygiene standards. Prior culinary or kitchen experience in the food industry is a plus but not mandatory; training will be provided for the right candidate.
