Duties Prepare food items efficiently while adhering to food safety standards and sanitation guidelines Operate POS systems to process sales transactions accurately Provide outstanding customer service by taking orders, answering questions, and upselling menu items to enhance guest experience Assist with food handling, bussing tables, and maintaining cleanliness throughout the restaurant or café environment Manage cash handling responsibilities with accuracy and integrity during transactions Support kitchen operations by assisting with food prep, stocking supplies, and ensuring quick service delivery Follow all food safety protocols and sanitation procedures to uphold health standards and ensure customer safety Skills Proven experience in food preparation, food service, or quick service restaurant environments Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS for retail sales transactions Strong customer service skills with a friendly, positive attitude Ability to multitask efficiently while managing time effectively during busy mornings Basic math skills for cash handling and retail math calculations Knowledge of food safety management and sanitation practices in a food industry setting Previous experience in cashiering, serving, or retail sales transactions is highly desirable Excellent teamwork skills with the ability to communicate clearly and work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment This role offers an energetic work environment where your contributions directly impact guest satisfaction.
