What You'll Do Deliver outstanding guest service with every interaction—greet and thank customers with a smile and eye contact. Prepare and serve food items efficiently while maintaining Firehouse Subs' quality, safety, and sanitation standards. Operate kitchen and deli equipment safely (meat slicer, knives, chopper, steamer, etc.). Accurately take orders and process transactions using POS systems (Aloha or Micros). Follow all local, state, and federal regulations, plus Firehouse Subs policies and procedures. Maintain a clean, organized workspace including prep areas, dining room, and sanitation stations. Support store operations through food handling, serving, bussing, and general cleaning. Communicate effectively with management regarding issues impacting operations. Foster teamwork and represent Firehouse Subs in a professional, positive manner. Perform additional duties as assigned by the Management Team. Requirements Must be 18+ and available to work days, evenings, weekends, and holidays . Ability to stand for long periods, bend, reach, kneel, and lift up to 50 lbs . Strong customer service skills and a positive, can‑do attitude. Basic computer skills; familiarity with POS systems preferred. Ability to perform basic math for cash handling and retail transactions. Knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices. Must be willing to embrace Firehouse Subs' culture of teamwork, fun, and heartfelt service. Previous restaurant, retail, or grocery experience is a plus but not required—enthusiasm and willingness to learn are essential.
