Evening Kitchen Team Member — Full-Time Join the Chick-fil-A Shelby team — one of the busiest Chick-fil-A restaurants in the nation. Our pace is fast, our standards are high, and every shift will push you to grow. Our Evening Kitchen Team is responsible for carrying us through some of our busiest hours of the day and finishing the night strong. This position requires availability from 2:00 PM until approximately 10:30-10:45 PM, five days per week. This isn't the easiest job you'll ever have — but it may be one of the most rewarding. Our evening team works through a fast-paced afternoon and dinner business before completing the cleaning, stocking, and closing responsibilities necessary to prepare the restaurant for the next day. From hand-breading chicken and preparing food to cleaning equipment, restocking, trash runs, and completing closing responsibilities, the pace is demanding and the standards are high. Every tray, every sandwich, every nugget — and every closing responsibility — matters. It's physical, fast-paced work, and it will challenge you. Typical shift:

2:00 PM-10:30/10:45 PM Available 5 days per week Approximately 38-48+ hours per week , depending on business needs Friday and Saturday availability is required Availability must be consistent and year-round Full-time availability is expected to remain consistent rather than changing from semester to semester Chick-fil-A Shelby should be your primary work commitment Closing team members are expected to remain until all assigned closing responsibilities are completed Applicants who cannot consistently work until approximately 10:30-10:45 PM should not apply for this particular position. Physical & Job Requirements Comfortable being on your feet for 8-10 hours Able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds Comfortable working in a hot, high-volume kitchen environment Able to work quickly while maintaining food quality and safety standards Willing to clean equipment, take out trash, stock supplies, and complete closing duties Dependable transportation and consistent attendance High-energy, solutions-focused mindset Core Responsibilities Hand-breading chicken to Chick-fil-A standards Cooking and preparing food with accuracy and speed Preparing produce and other kitchen products Maintaining food quality and food-safety standards Restocking stations throughout the evening Cleaning and maintaining kitchen equipment Completing dishes, trash runs, floors, and other closing responsibilities Preparing and resetting the kitchen for the following business day Supporting teammates wherever needed during high-volume periods Why Work With Us?
