We are seeking an organized, reliable, team player to work three days per week (9a-1pm). With this flexible work arrangement, responsibilities are shared with another co-site kitchen worker/aide in assisting the Site Manager with the operation of the Senior site and assisting with the preparation and packaging of meals for Meals-on-Wheels (MOW) program for homebound seniors and congregate site.

Essential functions:

Pack homebound bags for deliveries. Prepare coffee, tea, and serve meals to clients. Assist in preparation for next day. Clean up kitchen when food prep is completed. Keep all equipment and cabinets clean and organized. Help put away food/supply deliveries. Deliver homebound meals when needed. Other duties, as may be assigned, to successfully support MOW program.

Qualifications:

Must be minimum 21 years of age. Valid driver's license and reliable vehicle are required. Some knowledge of food preparation necessary. Must be extremely dependable and reliable with schedule. Ability to read, write and speak English sufficiently to communicate and perform necessary duties. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team, necessary.

Other requirements:

Bending, lifting, reaching, standing for long periods.
