Overview We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Kitchen Assistant to join our culinary team. This role is vital in supporting the daily operations of our kitchen, ensuring food safety, quality, and efficiency. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food preparation, strong knife skills, and experience in food handling within a restaurant or catering environment. Responsibilities Assist with meal preparation and food assembly according to recipes and standards Handle food safely and maintain cleanliness in all food prep areas Support cooking processes by preparing ingredients, chopping, slicing, and portioning Maintain proper food storage and labeling procedures Assist with dishwashing and cleaning kitchen equipment and surfaces Follow all health and safety regulations to ensure a safe working environment Support serving staff during meal service as needed Help with catering setups and event support when required Ensure kitchen supplies are stocked and organized for efficient workflow Qualifications Previous experience in food service, restaurant, catering, or culinary settings is preferred but not required.
