Duties Prepare and assemble food items according to established recipes and quality standards, ensuring quick turnaround times. Operate POS systems such as speedline POS and PAR POS to process customer orders accurately and efficiently. Manage food service customer orders from taking to delivery, including upselling menu items to enhance guest experience. Maintain a clean, organized workspace by regularly sanitizing surfaces, bussing tables, and adhering to sanitation protocols. Handle cash register operations and process retail sales transactions with accuracy, including cash handling and processing cash transactions. Operate kitchen equipment safely and correctly, supporting food preparation and cooking tasks while following food safety guidelines. Provide excellent customer service by greeting guests warmly, answering questions about menu items, and ensuring their dining experience exceeds expectations. Desired Experience but not required Prior experience in quick service or fast food restaurants is highly desirable; familiarity with food industry standards is a plus. Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently with strong time management skills in a fast-paced environment. Experience with POS systems such as Speedline or PAR is preferred; basic math skills are essential for cash handling and transaction accuracy. Knowledge of food safety management practices, sanitation procedures, and proper food handling techniques is important. Previous roles involving serving customers, cashiering, or retail sales transactions will support success in this position. Culinary or kitchen experience can be advantageous for supporting food preparation duties; café or restaurant experience is valued.
