Job Summary Vikings IOV #65 is a fraternal Scandinavian based member only club located on Chautauqua Lake in New York State. We offer friendly, quality food and beverage service to our members and their guests. We are looking for part-time, seasonal kitchen staff to join our dynamic culinary team. We offer competitive pay. Duties Flexible to assist with various kitchen duties. Support cooking processes under the supervision of chef and/or kitchen manager to ensure timely meal service. Maintain cleanliness of workstations, utensils, and equipment in compliance with food safety standards. Buss tables and clear dishes promptly to keep dining areas tidy and organized. Handle food safely by following proper food handling procedures and hygiene practices. Communicate effectively with team members to coordinate tasks and ensure smooth kitchen operations. Qualifications Previous experience in food service, restaurant work, or kitchen environments is preferred. Knowledge of food preparation techniques and basic cooking skills. Familiarity with food safety regulations and proper handling procedures. Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively within a team. Ability to stand for extended periods, lift moderate loads, and work efficiently in a fast-paced setting.
