Overview Must be available for morning shift! We are seeking a dedicated and customer-oriented Counter Clerk and kitchen help to join our team. This role is essential in providing excellent service to our customers while maintaining a welcoming environment. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills and a passion for retail, ensuring that every customer leaves satisfied. They should be able and willing to make egg sandwiches, panini, help prepare baked items, take out the garbage and keep kitchen and panini stations clean. Responsibilities Provide exceptional customer service by greeting and assisting customers at the counter. Operate the Point of Sale (POS) system for processing transactions accurately. Handle cash, credit, and debit transactions while ensuring proper cash handling procedures are followed. Assist with stocking shelves, merchandising products, and maintaining an organized counter area. Upsell products and services to maximize sales opportunities. Maintain knowledge of store promotions, inventory, and product features to effectively assist customers. Supervise junior staff when necessary, providing guidance and support in daily operations. Ensure compliance with company policies regarding phone etiquette, customer interactions, food handling according to board of health guidelines, dress code. package food request from customer, such as cakes, cookies, bread, and panini prepare coffee to order specification. package and prepare orders for pickup. Experience Previous experience in food establishment required. Familiarity with cashiering duties and basic math skills for accurate transaction processing. Experience in preparing specialty coffee such as espresso, cappuccino, and Latte, preferred. Strong communication skills are essential for effective interaction with customers and team members. Pay:
