Handle manual tasks such as heavy lifting, moving supplies, and organizing kitchen stations to maintain a clean and efficient workspace. Maintain high standards of food handling and safety management to ensure compliance with health regulations. Support catering events or large-scale food service operations by preparing ingredients and assisting with serving when needed. Keep the kitchen environment organized, sanitized, and stocked with necessary supplies for smooth daily operations. Requirements Prior experience in food service or restaurant environments is preferred; culinary or kitchen experience is a plus. Demonstrated basic knife skills and slicing techniques for efficient food preparation. Knowledge of food safety standards, food handling procedures, and sanitation practices in the food industry. Ability to perform manual handling tasks including heavy lifting and prolonged standing during shifts. Familiarity with food preparation equipment operation and safety protocols in a commercial kitchen setting. Strong attention to detail in sensory evaluation of ingredients and finished dishes. Excellent teamwork skills along with customer service experience to support a positive dining environment. Basic math skills for portioning ingredients and managing inventory effectively.
