Duties Prepare high-quality food items according to established recipes and safety standards, including frying, assembling, and packaging menu offerings. Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS to process customer transactions accurately and efficiently. Manage food service customer orders with professionalism, ensuring quick turnaround times and satisfaction. Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and increase sales opportunities. Maintain a clean workspace by adhering to sanitation, food safety, and hygiene protocols; including cleaning kitchen equipment and dining areas. Handle cash register operations, process cash and card transactions, and balance cash drawers at shift end. Support food safety management practices by following proper food handling procedures and sanitation standards. Experience Previous experience in quick service or fast food restaurants is highly preferred. Familiarity with food preparation, kitchen equipment operation, and food safety protocols is essential. Experience with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is advantageous. Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently during busy hours. Customer service experience demonstrating a friendly attitude and effective communication skills. Basic math skills for cash handling, retail math calculations, and transaction processing. Knowledge of food industry standards related to sanitation, serving, bussing, and general restaurant operations is a plus.
