JOB SUMMARY

Responsible to maintain the cleanliness of all kitchen equipment, China, silver, glassware, pots, pans in work areas and replenishment of supplies with clean ware on their assigned shift.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Responsible for directing, training and development of all Kitchen Utility staff and the distribution of workload necessary to maintain the cleanliness of all kitchen equipment, China, silver, glassware, pots, pans in work areas and replenishment of supplies with clean ware on their assigned shift

Ensure proper training of all Kitchen Utility staff on assigned shift in the use of chemicals and sanitary handling of all Food and Beverage equipment and utensils

Responsible for banquet set-up and breakdown on assigned shift Assigns duties as provided by management

REQUIRED SKILLS AND ABILITIES

Ability to stand, walk, bend, stoop, reach and stretch. Ability to lift at least 75 lbs. Ability to communicate effectively in English (orally and in writing). Ability to read at a level sufficient to understand/comprehend chemical MSDS paperwork.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

In addition to the other duties described herein, every Team Member has the following responsibilities related to compliance with laws and regulations: Attend required training sessions offered by the casino

Obtain required license(s)

Perform the duties described in compliance with local laws and regulations

Responsible for taking the necessary steps to ensure minors are not allowed to gamble or loiter in gambling areas, drink alcoholic beverages, or purchase tobacco

Knowledge of the ordinances, regulations, laws, policies, and procedures relating to the Team Member's department

Knowledge of the Property's programs to address problem gambling

Consult with the appropriate individuals and maintain an effective system of written policies, procedures, and internal controls to ensure compliance with the state regulations and Systems of Internal Controls

Responsible for taking the appropriate steps to investigate exceptions, fraud, and potential violations and report such instances to the appropriate levels of management Reports any acts of wrongdoing on behalf of any Team Member that they have knowledge of

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS & WORKING CONDITIONS

Must have ability to: Communicate effectively with all levels of Team Members, guests, and outside contacts

Work effectively in a fast-paced environment

Move around all work areas effectively and efficiently

Work long hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays

Extended time seated as well as on your feet
