Hocking Hills Winery is seeking a Kitchen Lead to join our team! The Kitchen Lead is responsible for helping oversee the day-to-day operation of our small kitchen while working alongside the team to deliver an exceptional guest experience. This role prepares and plates menu items including appetizers, pizzas, handhelds, and other offerings while maintaining a clean, organized, and efficient kitchen. The Kitchen Lead helps ensure food quality, proper sanitation, inventory organization, and smooth kitchen operations. The ideal candidate is a strong team player who leads by example and takes pride in consistency and attention to detail.

Qualifications:

5+ years of kitchen experience required; lead or supervisory experience preferred Experience preparing a variety of menu items in a fast-paced kitchen ServSafe Level 2 certification or ability to obtain, preferred Self-motivated with strong organizational and time management skills Commitment to food safety, cleanliness, and high-quality standards Weekend availability is required Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 40 pounds
