Duties Prepare and assemble a variety of deli products with precision and care, following safety and quality standards Operate our Toast POS system to process sales transactions accurately and efficiently Engage with customers by taking their orders, offering product suggestions, and upselling items to enhance their experience Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to sanitation and food safety regulations at all times Manage food handling responsibilities, including proper storage, portioning, and labeling of deli items Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently to support food preparation activities Process cash transactions accurately while managing cash register operations and balancing cash drawers at shift end

Pay Rate:

Hourly + Tip Pooling Experience Prior experience in food service, quick service restaurants, or retail environments involving food handling is highly desirable Demonstrated ability to manage time effectively in fast-paced settings while maintaining attention to detail Strong customer service skills with a focus on creating positive interactions and upselling opportunities Knowledge of food safety practices, sanitation standards, and proper kitchen procedures Basic math skills for handling cash transactions, retail math calculations, and inventory management Experience operating kitchen equipment or working in a café or restaurant environment will be considered an asset Join us as a Deli Artisan where your culinary talents meet vibrant teamwork!
