Job Summary We're looking for an energetic and dependable Kitchen Team Member to join our busy kitchen crew. In this role, you'll be a key player in preparing and serving tasty Italian dishes while maintaining a clean and safe work environment. Responsibilities Assist in preparing ingredients and cooking menu items following established recipes and standards. Support food preparation tasks such as chopping, assembling, and portioning ingredients. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including proper food handling and storage practices. Help with food service during busy hours to ensure timely delivery of orders. Follow all food safety protocols to ensure a safe environment for staff and guests. Support inventory management by helping with stock rotation and reporting shortages or issues. Collaborate with team members to create a positive work atmosphere focused on quality service. Requirements Previous experience in food industry roles such as dietary aide, restaurant, or catering is a plus but not mandatory. Knowledge of food handling safety regulations and proper hygiene practices. Basic culinary skills including knife handling, meal preparation, and cooking techniques. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Strong communication skills and willingness to learn new skills. Experience with menu planning or dietary department work is advantageous but not required.
