As a vital part of our food service team, you will play a key role in ensuring that our kitchen operates smoothly and efficiently. This position is perfect for individuals who are passionate about food preparation and have a keen interest in the culinary arts. If you thrive in a fast-paced environment and enjoy working as part of a team, we would love to hear from you. Duties Assist with food preparation, including chopping, slicing, and dicing ingredients using knives and other kitchen tools. Maintain high standards of food safety and hygiene throughout the cooking process. Support the cooking staff by preparing ingredients for catering events and restaurant service. Ensure that all kitchen equipment is cleaned and maintained according to health regulations. Collaborate with team members to ensure timely service during busy periods. Follow recipes accurately to ensure consistency in food quality. Participate in inventory management by tracking supplies and reporting shortages. Qualifications Previous experience in a restaurant or food service environment is preferred but not required. Knowledge of food safety practices and proper food handling techniques. Ability to work efficiently in a team-oriented atmosphere. Strong communication skills and the ability to follow directions accurately. A passion for cooking and willingness to learn new culinary skills. Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends as needed. Familiarity with catering operations is a plus.
