The Expo is the heartbeat of the kitchen, ensuring every plate leaves the line accurately, quickly, and at the highest quality. You will be responsible for coordinating communication between the kitchen and front-of-house staff, checking every order before it leaves the window, and maintaining the pace of service during our busiest shifts. Responsibilities Coordinate all food leaving the kitchen to ensure accuracy and speed. Inspect every plate for presentation, temperature, portion size, and quality. Communicate clearly with cooks, servers, hosts, and managers. Keep the kitchen window organized and running efficiently during peak hours. Verify special requests, allergies, and modifications before food is served. Assist with plating, garnishing, and final presentation when needed. Ensure orders are complete before leaving the kitchen. Maintain food safety and sanitation standards at all times. Help keep the Expo station clean, stocked, and organized throughout each shift. Qualifications Previous restaurant or food service experience required. Expo experience is preferred but strong line cooks or food runners are encouraged to apply. Ability to multitask and stay calm under pressure. Excellent communication and teamwork skills. Strong attention to detail with a commitment to quality.
